I am a teacher, coach, athlete, husband, and father, not necessarily in that order.
It was only a grand inspiration that arose from my daughter’s painful anxiety issues that moved me to become a writer. To help her deal with her fears, I conjured up a humorous story about a boy named Will Allen whose fears had literally come to life, and how, with some very special help, he learned to conquer them. It was my hope that as Will grew from a boy who was cowed by his fears into one who overcame them, so too would my daughter, and in turn, others like her. Now that inspiration has taken over my life, and I spend most of my time producing and promoting The Chronicles of the Monster Detective Agency.

Outside of work, my main interests are My Family, Political/Social Issues, the Sciences, and sports. I enjoy Movies, Reading, Writing, Illustrating, playing Baseball and Basketball, Running/Training, and Cooking.
