The short of it all....I studied commercial art and advertising at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I moved to Myrtle Beach. I really stretched my legs in illustration when I was asked by my church to produce a weekly comic strip of my Tbone character to match their curriculum. He's now one of their characters in their ongoing weekly theatre plays (you can view him in my pics). I sell my work online and out of my storefront/gallery "The Painted Banana". I spend most of my time, painting and illustrating designs on t-shirts, cards, magnets, etc. and teaching kid's art classes. I'm working on finishing up some book ideas" Jars of Clay" "David & Goliath" and "The Ten Commandments" that were created with my Tbone and Friends' characters so I can send them out into the world. I'm also working on animating them through flash, because like Dr.Frankenstein, I'm not just happy with the characters, I WANT TO BRING THEM TO LIFE!....and that's the short of it.
