About Patricia
I am an active duty Navy sailor. I have been in the Navy for over 17 years. I am a full time Master's Degree student, looking forward to teaching high school mathematics when I finish my naval career at 20 years.
I am also a mother. My daughter, I affectionately call Bubba Gene, is my pride and joy. She is the little miracle in my life that I strive to make the world a better place for. I am a pet owner; four dogs, Marsha, Tuxaphoneyphilharmonicaboy (tux for short), Roxy, and the Rotten-wilder named Snuggles; four cats, Nermal, Alex, Smuckers, and Wupsi. I consider myself their parent as well.
I am a Christian. I reach out to others as God sees fit. Sometimes that is with a smile, cup of coffee, and listening ear. Other times I speak of God’s work in my life. I rarely quote the Bible, because too many times it is misquoted and misunderstood. I am a firm believer that the Bible is meant to be a workbook with God as the teacher and few others in the classroom as tutors.
I wrote my first children’s book a few weeks ago, and have been working for years on two God inspired pieces. Each work only has words in it I feel God has asked me to write down or explain. My dream is to get all the works published and touch someone’s heart just enough to let them see there is something more out there and they need to go look for it. God did not stop speaking to the world at the end of the Bible.
