I love writing children's picture-book stories, but can't seem to get started with a publisher that will give me that first chance. I've gotten 12 rejection letters to date (3/4/09) and getting discouraged. I am a fighter though, so this journey isn't over yet.

My husband and I live in Arizona during the winter months and in Washington State during the summer. We've been married almost 36 years, have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren. We are involved in a 10,000+ member church in AZ, love to BBQ with friends, and hang out at a park with our grandkids that is directly across the street from our home.

Any encouragement/suggestions by fellow writers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
