I am a retired primary classrooom teacher of 32 years. Although retired, I have remained in education by teaching reading part-time, tutoring, and substituting. I have written 3 fact based fictional stories for children about endangered animals of Hawai'i that include lessons. I have submitted my stories to a publisher for review and am waiting for a reply. Currently, I am working on a story that teaches about the Humpback Whale as it instructs students how to use the Writing Process.
