A poem to all Jacket Flaps, glade to be aboard!

I’m an unknown artist, searching in defeat. It’s already a half past three, only got two hours left for sleep. Finding an agent Yo, can be bad on the knees.
But leave me be, I wont stop searching until I’ve sailed the seven seas, until my works are set free, until they implode the industry, until they become a clog that runs this machine!
Who will be the first to discover these? Who wants a peek into this new chapter of history? Into my reality, sign me please and receive a children’s book master-piece, at the very least.
Let’s make believe you stand at my feet. I guarantee you’ll be in entwined, Here, you see, I can write a thousand rhymes on a dime, but I know you’re going to fancy this children’s book of mine.
Maximus Minimus is the greatest super hero of all time, with one weakness he must find, love conquers all is the story-line.
So I’m calling all Agents near and far, you better check on a flight or hop your ass in a car, this one project is going to earn you five gold stars.

As you read my story on page two you will see there are no drawings or illustrations. I am hoping you can help me. I HAVE DECIDED TO HAVE A CONTEST!!!!! I wish a fish was someone I knew
Then I could swim the ocean blue
If I could swim like fishes do
Then I would swim about with you
What fun we’d have my fish friend and I
Swimming about beneath the blue sky
Not a care in the world
As you can see
Swimming about my fish friend and me
We’d meet fishes friends
And eat fishes food
Now that would put me
In a good fishes mood
Playing fun fishes games
And learning new fishes names
Its all very different
Its not at all the same
We’d visit far off fish places
And see funny fish faces
They would make us feel right at home
And sleeping at night
There would be no time for fright
For we would never be left all alone
Some new things I learn
Like fish soccer and all
I’m not sure how well I may do
Swimming upside down
Dressed like a fish clown
How fun, its all so brand new
When you are a fish
You can swim far and wide
You can swim with the tide
You can swim up and down
You can swim round and round
You can swim here and there
You can swim anywhere
My fish time is over
I will never forget
My fish friend and all of our fun
He showed me new places
And friendly fish places
But my fish friend adventure is done.

At the bottom of the page, you will see 2 segments of the Sasha project and on page 2 you will see the 3rd segment of the Sasha. (WPBT divided it, I guess for ease of putting it on their site). We are looking for an agent for this project. We see it in several formats:
1. As a CD (containing spoken narration and music)
2. As a DVD (containing spoken narration and music, as well as written text and semi-animated illustrations
3. As a book with still illustrations and written text with aCD attached in the back containing the spoken narration and music
4. a book with just still illustrations and written text, no narration no music.

We are looking for an agent to handle this. Ours is retiring and moving to North Carolina and does not want to take any new projects on. She is handling my Practicing Sucks...But It Doesn't Have To!!! which is being published by Rowman and Littlefield and will be out around January 2009. We already have the Husky Gang series out originally published by Warner Bros. and since by Alfred Music. since 2001, which includes several books which are about the adventures of the Husky Gang. Now we need a new agent since ours is retiring.

Sasha is a children's story about a sad ferret who goes looking for a friend. It is in several formats: children's book book with written text and illustraiton; book with written text and CD of music and spoken narration, DVD, containing written text, spoken narration, still and semi-animated iillustrations, and accompanying music (like Peter and the Wolf). We want to promote this project in its several different forms.You can see Sasha in 3 segments on the UVU portal.
