In 2009, my daughter (Linda Murray) suffered a stroke which turned out to be her third. It left her with aphasia (loss of words). I live in CA, and she lives in SC, but she "talks a poem" to me every day. We've used Dr. Shelley Tucker's books, "Word Weaving", "Painting the Sky", and "Writing Poetry" as the source of inspiration and direction for most of these poems, and then we find a picture on the internet to illustrate it.
