I'm a publisher author of children's and youth books. I write for 14 publishers, school books as well as trade books. I also write radio plays.
I grew up in a place on the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, called Swakopmund. It is were Angelina Jolie had her baby, between the desert dunes and the see. Lovely place, fantastic for holidays.
I'm actually a trained medical technologist and worked in a laboratory for ten years of my life. A very long time if the only thing you want to do is write children's books. Now I'm teaching people to write here in Cape Town, South Africa. I also visit schools on a regular basis to promote my trade books. My dream is to have a book of mine made in an animation film.
