Inspired greatly by nature, Lisa incorporates both elements of whimsy and fantasy to create enchanting images which she is thrilled to have collected worldwide. She holds an MFA in illustration from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, and has been working as a professional freelance artist since 1999. Among the several children’s books she has illustrated are “A Simple Brown Leaf” recipient of The Mother’s Choice award 2005 and “Clara’s Gift from the Heart” published 2006. Her latest children's book is "To Live as Legend" published by Dragonfeather books. She currently resides in Ames, IA with her husband, Joe and a house rabbit namedToby.
