About Lisa
Partnering with my cousin, our mission is to write childrens' books that have Latino casts and characters. I am a high school ESL biology and reading teacher. I see the need for my students to have characters who they can relate with in books.
I have not published a children's book yet, but I have had science articles published with Big Chalk.
I am a member of WISCBWI and SCBWI.
