Laurie Cockerell is a former elementary school teacher who has written and published three children's books:"Magnificent Sam: The Amazing Adventures of Sam Houston," "Founders' Fables: Ten Tales for Future Patriots," and "The Miracle." She is the mother of four children and the owner of Kinderfable Press.
