I am the author of the bilingual picture book, Floating on Mama's Song/ Flotando en la Cancion de Mama, illustrated by Yuyi Morales, and published by HarperCollins. It comes out on September 1, 2010.

I illustrated the bilingual picture book, The Runaway Piggy/El Cochinito Fugitivo, written by James Luna and published by Pinata Books. That book debuts November 30, 2010.

I'm very excited! These are my first two published picture books -- one I wrote, and the other I illustrated.
