About michelle
As a child, Michelle Grossman designed and painted everything she could get her hands on, with her sketch book always by her side for endless ideas that awaited. Michelle was lucky to have a family that encouraged her creativity, further enriching her imagination with summers filled of photography, gardening, and traveling on a boat with her pups. Riding side by side with whales and dolphins forever bonded Michelle’s love for animals and nature.
Her paintings have shown in galleries from New York City to Miami.
Michelle studied advertising and illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology and went on to earn her degree from the Parsons School of Design. Soon after, Michelle began illustrating for numerous magazines and became an art director for a multimedia/publishing company, designing children’s games, and toy packaging. With her extensive background in art and photography, Michelle started her own firm, Kurve Design Ltd, directing designers and illustrators and collaborating with copywriters in conceptualizing and developing worldwide campaigns that won numerous awards.
Michelle’s great passion for writing and illustrating children’s books is what she is most proud of, putting a giant smile on a child’s face while opening up a world full of endless possibilities and imagination.
