I am a retired archaeologist who along with writing children's and Y/A books, am studying to become an herbalist. I live in Oregon, land of adventure (and of course rain). I have been married for almost 20 yrs and we have a beautiful, brilliant daughter and four very spoiled dogs. I love to hike, camp, swim, just started learning how to surf, jump off anything higher than 20 feet into rivers, and look forward to submitting Mt. Hood this summer (on the easy side). Drawing is also a passion of mine or should I say compulsion. Ha ha

I have finished my first children's book, The Princess Maker. Ages 5-8. It is a wonderful story that leaves the reading wondering if Sophia Paisley Plantagenet is an actual princess or just a shy little American girl. Her life is changed when she gets a miniature poodle for her birthday and is asked to play a main part in her school's play. This book is so gloriously descriptive that you'll feel tucked in next to a fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa. Working on TPM cookbook to share the scrumptious recipes from the book.
