I am a wife, mother of three daughters, and an illustrator/designer. I work from my home studio (near Cleveland) pretty much full time, illustrating children's books and magazine stories and covers. I have also begun teaching foundational courses at an art and design college.I started my career as a fashion illustrator, working on site. After 10 years a family came along, and I got sucked into the vortex of children's books. The girls are now women and have been launched, but here I still am, captivated by this industry. My favorite medium is watercolor, and I work strictly traditionally.I'm currently working on a dummy for a wordless picture book, my first attempt at submitting my own story.
