I am an artist aspiring to write and illustrate children's books. I like to experiment with style and colors, ranging from whimsical and imaginative to classical and realistic. Mostly I work in watercolors and gouache, but I also enjoy colored pencil, ink, and acrylic.

I studied art most of my life, in formal and informal settings. At university I graduated with a degree in counseling and a minor in fine art. After working in the counseling field for several years, marrying the love of my life and now having children, my desire is to take my stories and drawings from brainstorm, to the bookshelves of children everywhere.

Presently I work from home as a freelance illustrator designing song charts for children's songs.
