Joe Thibodeau’s recent work evokes a sense of raw sophistication. After creating illustrations and caricatures for over 30 years, Joe has honed his own unique process - resulting in a rich visual experience. Although his work has it's own voice, he has been largely influenced by old Beetles album covers, underground comics, and a childhood of MAD magazine.

Early in his career, Joe worked as an editorial cartoonist and an art director in Little Rock Arkansas. He has caricatured the likes of Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton, and has been published in several editorial cartoonist books. He has gone on to illustrate for major brands and magazines along with a myriad of other creative projects. (The list is extensive and can be emailed upon request.)

Joe’s unique style is perfect for storybook and/or editorial illustration. Joe has a deep appreciation for the arts and his family. When Joe is not making art, he’s usually helping his wife with their dance studio or spending time with one of his 5 children, and/or his 4 grandchildren.
