I went to the University of Virginia before getting my Master’s degree in elementary education from William and Mary. I did my Master’s work in reading and education models that help struggling readers. I have taught literacy and other subjects to students ages preschool through sixth grades. I coach beginning teachers and have presented at conferences for engineering education, differentiated curriculum, and the writing process. I love to write an work with children as they discover the writer within themselves!
