Since I am a dreamer writing books is my way of escaping reality, even for awhile. Depending on my mood a story takes shape, and a life of it's own is born. It's amazing how you can start a book, and when you are finally finished you had no idea that it would turn out like it did.Two weeks ago, I had my first book signing for my new and only release (The Adventure's Of Smartypants Fly). It was definitely awesome, but at the same time very scarey. Having your work in the public eye, after being in seclusion. Then having it lay naked for the world to view.My passion is writing poetry, and children's book's up to Young Adults. During the last ten years I have written over twelve books, and now trying to polish them up.I wrote Smartypants as one word, like children would say it. Even though Smarty Pants is two words. My real job is working as a nurse's aide, in a nursing home. Someday I would like to retire and write fulltime.
