About Gary
My career as an artist started when I used to draw on the walls in my parents house before I could walk. All throughout school, I was the go to guy to draw something cool on my fellow classmates notebooks. I remember everyone lining up to have me draw the Batman logo on their notebooks when the TV show with Adam West was so popular.
Once I got out of high school I took the long way around college, by quitting for a year and traveling through Europe.
When I got back I went back to art school working hard and got my first job in advertising and publishing. This is where I learned everything under the sun about commercial art and printing. I have art directed, concepted, designed and even illustrated ad campaigns and company materials for large corporations around America and even illustrated and concepted some greeting cards for a company in England.
I have developed logos and brands working for agencies including Foote Cone and Young & Rubicam just to name a few. I have worked freelance for clients including Disney, Verizon, Universal, Economic Alliance of The San Fernando Valley, University of Judaism, Atlantic Entertainment Group, Burke Williams and others.
My first love is drawing. I have always had a passion for writing and illustrating childrens books and developing and creating cartoons and comic strips.
I currently have a few stories in development and am now using my time to develop these in hopes to submit them in the later part of this year.
