I'm a published writer who just began a small, publishing company and online store / article database. It was a big step for me, but you can see the whole tale on my website. Bear with me, it's still under construction.

I think that the writer/publisher relationship is often a tricky one at best (and I've had some doozy experiences!) but it doesn't need to be that way. What better person to be a publisher than a writer? And I'm a former teacher / children's librarian so needless to say, the children's book market is very important to me.

It's pretty scary stepping out of my comfort zone, let me tell you! But I already have two authors ready to sign with me, so wish me luck!

Well, here it is in July and I wanted to add a quick update - I'm thrilled to say we have 3 children's books to be published this fall and the other books categories are going great as well! I want to let all you at Jacketflap know that I've referred 4 awesome illustrators to you - here's to hoping the best to us all!
