Hello! My name is Erin and i'm a recent graduate of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. I have a BFA in Communications Design and I majored in Illustration. I don't have anything published (yet!), but is my goal to make children's books.



I like to work in watercolor and colored pencil. I also enjoy using markers and ink. I do lighthearted and humorous subjects. In addition to children's books, I am interested in making graphic novels.



I am inspired by so many different artists! Tim Burton, Edward Gorey, Peter McCarty, Maurice Sendak, Jim Henson, Arthur Rackham, Gris Grimly, Tony Millionaire, Lane Smith, Tom Tierney...the list goes on and on.



On a more personal note, I love movies (my favorite being the original Star Wars trilogy), chocolate, paper dolls, and action figures.
