I have 1 children's book published "It Was Big , It Was Scary, It Was...." I have 2 more books ready to go. I am the writer/illustrator. Leslie Nordness is the co-author.
I am married and the mother of 5 (yes 5!!) wonderful children. I also have 1 awesome grandson.


I love writing and illustrating. People always ask how I knew what to write in a children's book that little kids like so much and I tell them "with 5 kids and a grandchild you know how many children's books I've read?"


I am also a sculptor and have sculpted some of my characters. I do enrichment conferences at the local schools here. I bring my book and sculptures and some of my artwork. If any of you ever have a chance to do that, DO IT!! It is so much fun. Talk to the teachers, volunteer!! The kids are in the class all slumped in their chairs and it is a challenge to get them to ask questions and create enthusiasm. Once you get them involved they are so fun. The teachers love it.
