Born and raised in California, educated at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, working as a teacher in Omaha, Nebraska, I began writing The Latchkey Kids series in 2003.
I'm married with two dogs, am a brain tumor survivor and a fan of Wizard Rock.
