I am a writer, mono-skier, swimmer, singing in a women's
chorus, drummer (beginner), mother of 2 grown boys and 2 adopted teenage daughters (yikes!), partner with my husband, owner of two dogs, and aunt to the cutest baby in NH.
I enjoy our life in a small city, reading my book while kids bring my puppets to life, music from around the world, night skies with no street lights, picture books, coffee ice cream laced with chocolate, a special place on a lake in Maine, turtles, my extended family, traveling with people who are not too serious, homemade bread and in-season fruit.
I miss parts of my former country life - chickens and cats, my son's horses, sledding down our driveway, the spring migration of salamanders, swimming and kayaking in nearby lakes.
