About Cindy
Hi my name is Cindy and i'm on my beginning stages to writing childrens books.When i was in school i didnt really like english and, literature bored me..dont get me started on william shakespear."To be or not to be..".I was thinking when i was reading back at school..and the teacher said cindy go on from there..and i was.."pssstt..what page are we on again..heehee.oh wee..where was i??er uhm..oh yes.sorry...
I suddenly began writing poetry as an emotional outlet and the weirdest thing happened..i suddenly found it so easy to ryhme words with humour .I began writing 3 poems a day and started feeling really good as my stresses were leaving off my shoulders flying to another astral plane.
Recently i had that aha moment..i should be writing childrens books.When im with kids, i sure do know how to make them laugh.I make people laugh all the time even through pc and mobile chat.Who said it was impossible to make someone smile through words.Im sure all you people who are reading this now quite agree with me, and feel the same way.Its utterly brilliant that so many people can have an effect on people through words.I say what better way to do it through childrens books, and mould minds this way, by providing a world of escape,fantasy and truth, and being a friend to a child with many challenges, that he or she may take on their journey in life.
i hope to meet many new friends here and please feel free to leave comments.I would like to know how to contact publishers,the pros and cons of writing these books.I would appreciate any help to getting my first book published.I really believe it will make a difference to any childs life as i have a strong positive feeling about it...well wish me luck..im taking my first step.:)
