Brin Fizbie is my pseudonym, but at home everyone knows me as Chazda. The name Brin Fizbie came to me as a happy accident. Several years ago, I wrote a short murder mystery. It was horrible and I never submitted it to any publisher. (At least I hope not! It was a long time ago.) But one thing in the story was worth keeping: one of the suspects was a children's book author who published under the pseudonym Brin Fizbie. When I decided to write and illustrate my own books for kids, there was no question: I had to put that name to good use!

I'm a writer, illustrator and designer. And I'm a mom. Creating stories and images that my own daughter will enjoy is my primary drive and inspiration. Creating a story that she can learn from as she giggles is extremely gratifying, and being able to watch other little ones respond with so much joy and curiosity is a wonderful, heart warming experience.

"Pull This, Pull That" is my first book for babies and toddlers, one of a series. The next, due for release soon, will be "Push This, Push That," which has me giggling as I work on the illustrations. (It was the same with the first book project, my sporadically giggling at the computer while trying to make a perfectly smooth line. Ahem.) Currently, the title list scheduled for this series is eight books. Enjoy!
