My name is Martha Daniels, and I live in Belfast, Maine. I was an elementary public school teacher for 19 years until the summer of 2010, when I left the profession to pursue my life-long dream of becoming a writer.
I am currently in the process of trying to get my first novel published, which is what brought me to Jacketflap. I am not on Facebook, so this is a totally new experience for me!
My favorite hobbies are reading, skiing, hiking, sailing, needlepoint, and knitting. I love being in the outdoors and watching nature.
