After spending twenty-nine years in the corporate world I decided to follow my dream to write a childrens book. Being surrounded with six grandchildren, and a daughter that owns a Preschool/Daycare my mind is going 100 miles an hour with stories...my daughter says; "Mom can look at a pickle and come up with kids story about it" I self published my first book in the fall of 2008. I wasn't overly excited about the self publishing route, but my Mom was diagnoised with Dimentia and I wanted to get it in print quickly before she was unable to appretiate it. My book is based on an experience my mother had in 1976 while attending a dinner with Queen Elizabeth at the White House. Since my publishing I have sent a copy to Queen Elizabeth and Betty Ford who have both acknowledge the book and the enjoyment they received reliving the evening. My dream now is find an agent and publisher who will publish this story in hardcover and look at the other stories I have written.
