At 17 years old, a local newspaper did an article on me as someone with "music floating around in her head". There's still lots of music, but now there are more stories, characters, plots, and ideas for fiction--and ideas for nonfiction than I've ever had. I am new to being published, but not new to literature. As a teacher, I see what makes a great book versus what makes a good book. I may need some help to get started, but I really want to give writing a try! I have taught middle school, first grade, and now third grade. I LOVE literature and language arts, storytelling, and poetry.
