My name is Annie I am 53 I live in Scotland. I'm from the village of Elderslie birthplace of Sir William Wallace made famous by Mel Gibson in the film Braveheart. It's a sleepy little village nestleled in the banks of the brandy burn, a lazy old sream that tricles it's way from the border of that terrible town Paisley on down through Elderslie toward linwood.

I went to the old Wallace School where I was belted daily for loosing a reading book. I hated books after that wouldn't catch me with my nose stuck in a book. No Sir It was my older sister Christine who saved me from the witch with the three plad leather belt. She forgot her gym shoes a likely tale but she got sent in to our class as a punishment. Thus my unjust daily punishment came to an end
