Tim McNeese appeared on the History Channel in February, 2006, on the program, Risk Takers, History Makers: John Wesley Powell and the Grand Canyon. On the progam, he served as the contributing historian and also participated in replicating some of Powell's exploits in exploring the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon in 1869.
