Teacher for 8 years...teach at a private boarding school in Kentucky. Christian faith, happily married for 22 years to the same man, have two boys.I am working on many literary projects....1 completed, looking for a publisher or agent. My children's book is entitled 'Why are you Blue, Little Iris-Lu'? (working title), It is a 900 word, 32 page picture book set in a beautiful, safari-like zoo, with three main characters. Iris-Lu is a young giraffe with self-esteem and contentment issues. She complains to her best friend, Kiwi, a happy-go-lucky bird, that her extremely long neck and legs and over-sized hooves prevent her from having fun like all the other animals.
I am collaborating on the illustrations with Sandra E. Anderson, a wonderful illustrator who is really capturing my vision for this story. I hope to have samples up here soon!
