She has used her writing, editing and research skills to write educational curriculum for children, teens and adults. As Senior Research Assistant/Art and Editorial Production Coordinator for the 27-part film series entitled “That the World May Know,” Scoti researched for accuracy geography, seasons, feasts, culture, dress, facial ethnicity, machinery, furniture, weapons, architecture, archeological discoveries, Roman culture and government, religious beliefs of various Jewish sects, and flora and fauna, then conceptualized biblically-accurate art compositions used for over 200 art renderings and maps. She researched and edited the CD-ROM content for over 700 files (equalling16 trade-sized books) for “Jesus: The Man, The Message, The Messiah” with Ray VanderLaan. She also researched and authored a discussion guide for public school teachers for the public school video “Masquerade: Our Deadly Dance with Drugs and Alcohol.”
Scoti also wrote “Favorite Bible Heroes” for Rainbow Publishers and co-authored: “Wrong Way, Jonah” with Kay Arthur and was a contributing writer for “Jesus in the Spotlight” by Kay Arthur and Cyndy Shearer. The MOPS book, “Mommy Diaries” includes her essay “Who Will Protect Us?” Her articles have appeared in The New York Times, Focus on the Family magazine, Contemporary Christian Music, Family Life Today, School Daze magazine, Southwest Art, Bookstore Journal, Single Adult Ministry Journal, The Orange County Real Estate Digest, Get Up and Go, Charlotte Parenting, and other parenting magazines. Currently, Scoti writes a monthly solo-parenting column in Colorado Springs Kids magazine.
