I pay the mortgage writing those 'oh, so useful' help pages for eBay with nights and weekends devoted to writing MG/YA novels and Adult Horror (quite a mix, huh?).



MY horror stories include a "Black Budget" American Assassin Association and a tingly ghost story with tons of twists and turns.



My MG/YA include a couple of out and out fantasy stories. I am currently wrapping up an epic, ala Tolkin style, faire story . I also have a shorter one that’s all done and almost made it to press. (Had a disagreement with the publisher so it was sadly killed).



I also have a series of (OH NO!) talking dog detectives, although I do not write down to kids. It is humorous for the younger reader with plenty of old fashion down and dirty mystery for the more attuned reader. I think of it of the Jim Henson approach. Muppets for the kids, deeper humor and insights for their parents. I have also created the illustrations for them too! See the sketch below.



I’ve also written a ‘adult’ Picture Book but haven’t clue who I could submit to!



I belong to the SCBWI and have been moderator for an online MG/YA critique group since 2001.



All and all, I’ve been a busy boy!
