About Robin
Greetings!
I am an illustrator whose main interests are anatomy, zoology, botany and whimsy. I work in traditional media. Most of my published work has been for the body-work field ('Trail Guide to the Body', 'Body Mechanics for Manual Therapists'...) but I am much interested in breaking into the children's book field where I could indulge my love of the colorful and imaginative.
One of my great loves is the art of the high Middle Ages, with its marginal drolleries and grotesques. I work in this style in the Society for Creative Anachronism (a medieval re-creation group) and I would like to work that into the area of children's literature.
I look forward to learning more about the people and possibilities in this splendidly intriguing field!
