My name is Ann Marie McGovern-Theriault. I am a single mother of 3 wonderful kids. My oldest son is a 0h-58 Kiowa Helicopter Pilot. My second son is a Police Officer in our home town. My daughter is 19 a Sophomore in college and keeps me very busy.
I work as a Para Professional Educator (Pre school Co Teacher) in an integrated preschool that is housed in our High School. I work with children with special needs, and those that are on the Autistic Spectrum. They own my soul.
Writing is my gift and passion. I have been writing poetry since my own emotional teen years. More recently I am interested in writing stories for children. I am putting together several picture books that I am hoping to run in a series about people. I have alot of great ideas that come in rhyme almost as if channeled to me by an elf.
Life has thrown me a few curve balls in the past few years... but I hit them every time!
