Though I have written three biographies of well-known Christians geared for elementary and middle school, my current passion is writing a series of books called "Hidden Heroes," focusing on little-known Christians in countries around the world. Each book begins with one missionary who left his or her homeland to carry the Good News and then goes on to focus on national missionaries who are reaching the lost within their own country.

The books, written on the fourth-grade level with Thought and Discussion Questions after each chapter, are being published by Christian Focus Publications (www.christianfocus.com). There are currently two in publication, "With Two Hands: Stories of God at Work in Ethiopia," and "The Good News Must Go Out: Stories of God at Work in the Central African Republic."

From many people I keep hearing, "There's a real shortage of good missionary stories for children." I hope to fill that gap. My joy will be that both parents and children will together say "Wow!!" at the amazing works of God through Jesus Christ.
