About Peni
I write books for young people and live in San Antonio in a house I hope to have fixed up in my lifetime. The 12 books I've published in the last 20 yeras are primarily mystery and fantasy, with a couple of contemporary outliers. A state award or two, a few genre nominations; I do all right; but you're only as good as your next book.

LOL!!! Peni, your comment on the Hunger Game series is hysterical! (And you've made me so happy that I've waited. )
Now, let me ask you about the Queens Thief series. Did you like the first book better than the following ones, or vice-versa?

Let me know what you think about "Conspiracy of Kings", Peni. (And I didn't read Catching Fire yet. Waiting until right before "Mockingjay" comes out)
