Hello everyone! I was born in Montenegro (this country used to be part of Ex-Yugoslavia) where I grew up, studied and earned a degree in Yugoslav and World's Literature at Faculty of Philology, Belgrade University. For five years I worked as a high school teacher in Budva, Montenegro, my native city. Since 1995. I live in Canada, where I was first admitted as student at SLALS (School of Lingusitics and Applied Language Studies) at Carleton University, Ottawa. In 2001 I got certified in TESL (Teaching of English as a Second Language) and few years later I earned M.A. degree at the same school. I also studied at Faculty of Education,Queens University, Kingston Ontario, and in 2005. graduated as Primary Junior Teacher. For the last six years I work as an occasional teacher in Ottawa area. Prior to that I was instructor of language(s) spoken in Former Yugoslavia, now called Bosnian,Croatian, Serbian, but I also worked with English as a Second Language students. Since my childhood I had passion for reading and writing and here is my story "The Kids Who Speak Nash Languages" which I posted on my blog "First Langart". I was inspired by the little people who were around me all the time - the children of immigrants and their confusion and struggle for keeping the first language ( language of home). I hope some of you will read it and perhaps like.
