Illustrator/Children's Book Writer and Educator. I was born and raised in Bergen County New Jersey. Trained as an artist and attended The School of Visual Arts in New York City, Vermont Studio Center,The Charles Cecil Studio in Florence, Italy, and Studio Incamminati, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I worked as an apprentice to Audrey Flack in the 1970's. I continued graduate level work in art education at The University of North Florida and traveled throughout Europe studying the great masters and their work. I have held various art teaching and administration positions, including the directorship of education for The Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art, and as executive director for The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. I have written and illustrated 2 children's picture books and have published Too Many Feathers. Pesto and Caesar will be published this fall or early 2011. I continue to teach, lecture and make art.
