I am a retired teacher, having retired three years ago after 32 years of teaching music and upper elementary classroom. I have written several school musicals, as well as three children's theatre musicals that have been performed by our local children's theatre in Mesa, Arizona. I am always searching for some modern children's literature that I can adapt to the stage, but getting permission from the authors has been tough! I am currently taking a Writing for Children class which has inspired me to write a picture book based on stories my dad told me growing up. I welcome all comments and advice!
