I have written several children's stories, some based on what I saw a need for while teaching elementary children. Other stories are just fun ideas I had. Dream Flight was based on a childhood dream. I haven't yet submitted the manuscripts for my writings for kids but I have dome the research to know how to go about it. I need to quit holding back and get them out!

I am an artist who does praise art, which is a form of worship through painting. I am now focusing on this kind of painting and writing Christian articles,devotionals, and songs. I do still have a few kernals of children's stories which might develop into new manuscripts. Some of the songs are for kids too.

My husband is disabled and I will be providing care in our home once it has been made wheelchair accessible. Since I'll be home instead of teaching, I will have increased opportunity to paint and write. God is good to give me this passion so that I don 't have to focus on how I miss teaching. Instead I can joyfully pursue art and writing which I would have trouble finding time for if I were teaching. Yay, God!
