A big kid at heart, I am a children's librarian in a regional public library system in southwest Nova Scotia. I order all the children's fiction, AV materials and youth fiction for our 10 branches. We don't have much of a budget, but that's par for libraries these days. It certainly doesn't diminish my interest in materials aimed at children and youth. I am frequently "on the road" visiting some of our branches. It is always the contact with kids that makes me smile and reminds me why I love my job.
