I am a Brazilian writer and I live in Rio de Janeiro. I have books published in Brazil and in India, two of them awarded by UBE - Brazilian Union of Writers.

I usually write for YA readers because I believe that young people should and must think about the world, about life and about their own doubts, conflicts, dreams and desires. And also because this is one of the most important stage for them to develop more responsibility in the future and to be aware of their role in our world.

When I was a young girl, literature was one of the most important lights that had lightened my mind and my whole life, being responsible for who I am today: a person worried about values that are really important for life.

So, I still believe in humans' essence and that there is a better future for humanity that lives on this planet. Above all, we live on Earth and we are all human beings!
