Thank you for your kind words. What I was trying to say is the definition of success is how you measure it. You certainly are successful with a wonderful family and a fulfilling job.
It is a really difficult, climate out there now...it is harder and harder for everyone to get freelance work. I am constantly thinking of ways to reinvent myself. I hear that now you really need an agent, I'm looking for one myself.

Have you joined the Society of Children's
Books Writers and Illustrators? At a recent conference I went to Emma Hamilton mentioned a book called Gorilla Marketing for Children's Books. She said it was a great marketing tool.
