About Dan
I own and operate a family construction business for 20 years. It was my dads dream not mine, dont get me wrong I love my dad, he is 79 years old and comes to my house 5 days a week to do his wood work in my shop, so we have coffee every morning and discuss the price of gold and silver, lol. But the construction business was his dream not mine. Before i leave this life I will see my dream in print. My dream is called "To Fall Through" The inspiration of my book is a book in itself. In my 30's (1987) i wanted to move to hawaii from Idaho, I recieved alot of advise about how big of a mistake that would be. I meditated and prayed for guidance. My sister was helping me with a yard sale and she came across a box of high school papers, i looked through them and came across a paper I wrote Febuary 14, 1973. A 500 word essay.I got into trouble in Science class and the teacher made me write an essay on a drop of water. Well I decided to do it different. I named a drop Charley Drip and he wanted to go to Hawaii. Instead of Science project about H2O, (class clown). I recieved an A and the teacher read it to the class. Needless to say I moved to Hawaii. It was so sureal to find that essay, I kept asking what does this mean? It cant just be a sign that it's OK to move to Hawaii, so I started writing on the beach in Hawaii. Now part of me is saying how can a construction guy be a writer? But thats not true, its a great story, I just need to revise again and again until its right. Hells bells i have been contimplating this book for along time! Now all of a sudden Im 51, whats up with that?Thats my readers digest version of my bio.NamasteDan
