OOps meant to comment on Siri's words but want to say your moon man makes me smile Carol . All the works I've seen so far have merit in their own way but the people I comment to are special ! Yes the birds have a place in my heart and I am a Gypsy .

You all may not know it but Jillian is about the busiest artist I have ever met. She not only draws, paints, writes and takes A bazillion photographs, when her camera is working, but she leads an ACEO group of over 4,000 artists as well and belongs to every society ever invented I think. You might check her site out. She started me out on those ACEs and they get into your blood because it is so easy to carry your canvas with you and a pen or pencil.

Carol, American dream is one that was fun to do also And the Bougatti racer was long enough to fit his tail HAHAHHAHA. As for the Motor madness it is how I felt on a long freeway trip in an old Honda civic so had to express it and Coffee is how I introduced myself to the owner of a restraunt who became dear friends and I ended up doing some menu covers as well but the cup-o-joe is a style I like when out on foot with Prismacolors and a backpack.
Also , yes I have two small books in mind and Honey, Tap and Doc are three of the 9 drawings I have done so far . Read Road is also a series but will have to navigate the new world of book publishing sooner or later to get them off my drawing board, the clutter is killing me HAHAHAHAHA.

I looked through your great gallery and bookshelf and just love your "American Dream." The alligator's short arms at the steering wheel are so silly and sweet! And, my, he does have strong taste in cars . . ..

Speaking of cars, "Motor Madnes" is enough to drive a car-kid (like ball-kids, dinosaur-kids, etc., crazy about one special thing) into a new state of enthusiasm! Those cars have personality.

I also like "Coffee" for lots of reasons, the composition, the color, the originality and the steam.

Your new pics look like they're for a picture book of your own! Way to go! Are you a member of SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators)? If not, it's a wonderful more mentor-based than competitor-based international group of incredibly nice people. If so, aren't they though?!
