About Donna
My first picture book--Bink and Slinky's Ark Adventure, the tale of two groovy snails trying to reach Noah's Ark before something called "The Great Falling" begins--will be released in March of 2013 with Standard Publishing. Like my childhood hero, Peter Pan, who never wanted to grow up, I carry a little fairy dust with me at all times as a reminder to view life through a child’s eyes. A midlife freelancer who still believes she can fly—via my retro Schwinn bicycle, complete with handlebar streamers and ringing bell!—my life experiences as an elementary school teacher, dance team coach, performing arts director, evangelist, and entertainer, all serve me well in my writing career today.
