Maps were never a chosen career path, I just happened to get a job in the mapping department of a publishing firm whilst completing and honours degree in business studies and have never looked back. Maps are a way to travel the world whilst getting my itinerary finalised!

Is there a nonfiction children's book [MG-level, say] on maps - history of, how they are made, how they've changed, different kinds? That would make a great book.
